Pugwash District High School is located along the Northumberland Strait in beautiful Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. Our 2004 enrollment is approximately 315 students. Our school excels in athletics and other extra-curricular activities. Located in our school are the Jean Wallace Art Gallery and the Dr. Joseph Rotblat Hall. These are some pictures of our school.
This is the Jean Wallace Art Gallery. It consists of paintings donated by some of the famous artists of Nova Scotia and some exceptional works from students.
This is the main lobby. It is dedicated to Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Joseph Rotblat. He was involved in the Thinker's Conferences held in Pugwash.
This is our schools metal lab where our robotics team meets. The planning, designing, and building of the robot takes place.
